In January 2005, RE.AL inaugurated its own space, Atelier RE.AL, where workshops, research and artistic experimentation and residencies occur.

Atelier Real is born out of the need to share and bring the research that started in the 90′s further, focusing on the development of João Fiadeiro’s Real Time Composition (RTC) and more recently, through the encounter and collaboration  with brazilian anthropologist Fernanda Eugénio, in the And_Lab project, a laboratory for artistic research and scientific creativity whose Investigation Centre “resides” at Atelier Real.

For regular news and updates about Atelier Real´s programmation and events,  the following sections of this site can be visited,as Atelier Real is also a hosting space, a space for artistic residencies or researchers who wish to develop projects, and a space where art, sciences or editing events, just to mention a few, happen on a regular basis.
